   The Truth of the Christopher Columbus

  When I say "Columbus" what ideas can you think of? Maybe you could think that Columbus landed in the west indies for the first time, or that he is a respective and great person. However the "truth of Columbus is totally different. He killed and caught Indians, He got Indians for slaves and took things from them. Indians suffered from Columbus. From now on. I'll tell you the unbelievable truth about Christopher Columbus. 

  First of all, who is Christopher Columbus? Well, Columbus is famous for an explorer, setting off to prove the world was round. He landed in the west Indies on 12 October 1492 and became the first European to set foot in the Americans. Most of you will believe these information. You will think that these are true. Most of you will respect and believe Christopher Columbus. However, is it really true?

  Now, let me tell about the first interesting truth about Christopher Columbus. As I mentioned in the introduction, Columbus is known for setting foot in the West Indies first. However, this is not true. Vikings almost certainly reached North America 500 years before him., Furthermore, as I also mentioned earlier, Columbus is known to set off to prove the world was round. However, Columbus wanted only one thing, WEALTH. He and other Spanish people wanted only gold and money. As they wished, they gets many gold from the Indians. 

  Isn't it interesting? The things that you learned was not always right. These were two truth about Christopher Columbus. Then what are the other two truths about Columbus? 

  Next, let me talk about the cruelty about Columbus. This will be the other truths about him. Indians suffered from Columbus. I believe that almost all of you will think that Christopher Columbus is a respective person, who is a great explorer. However, he was totally different from these beliefs. Even we can call him, the Cruel Columbus-C.C.

 Before Columbus came, Indians were living peacefully in their land. They grew their crops, gathered food, and helped each others. However, when Columbus came the Indians' lives got harder

  To begin with, Columbus took Indians for slaves. When Columbus went back home, He took about 20 Indians. In 1495, 500 Indians were sent to spain to work in there. Half of them died in the journet. The slaves ahd to work for Columbus and other people. They had to grow crops, dif for gold or spin cotton. -continued
