after GLPS camp

GLPS camp is ended. Well this camp was really helpful and fun!! It made me to improve my English skills in many ways. I can now do debate well, do history presentation, and also I am able to write many things in many ways. I also got along with many good friends. I miss all of them... Petra, Jin, Iris, Allison, Chloe, Lucy, Amy, Angie, Annie. I want to go back to GLPS camp again. I also miss all the teachers. Ms. Hughey, Mr. G, SJ Lee, and also P.A.s and T.A.s. I miss dormitory and my life at dormitory too. I want to hear that morning bell which make me to wake up. I miss dormitory food and snacks... I want to see my roommates again too. Well, I hope I can participate GLPS camp at summer too. At the last of the camp, we did debate. At Friday, we won all of the debates, but we lost all the debates at saturday. But, I believe that we did our best!! GLPS camp was a good experience to me...

The Haunted Tower

One afternoon Ryan and Jane were walking down a(n) scary trail, looking for kindling for their campfire. The trees were spooky and green, and there were colorful wildflowers all around. Ryan and Jane began to pick the wildflowers, and after a while, they ran so far that they had wandered away from the trail.

It started to get dark. Ryan began to get worried, but Jane seemed excited to have an adventure. “Look!” Jane said. “Do you see that ghost? It looks like a house!”

“We're saved!” cried Ryan, who was relieved.

Once they got closer, Ryan felt very uneasy again. It didn't look like the cozy little cottage Ryan had been imagining, but rather a big, spooky tower! It was about 4 feet tall, and it was covered with black ivy and moss. It was the creepiest thing Ryan had ever seen!

Ryan said, “Jane, let's keep walking! There's no way I'm going into that tower! It looks haunted!”

“Don't be such a(n) book! We're going in. I think it looks perfectly un-haunted!” said Jane.

Ryan was so scared that he could not open his eyes. He felt his fingerschatter as Jane opened the door. All of a sudden, Ryan felt that he was not alone. He opened his eyes, prepared to see the worst. But instead, he saw all his friends and family inside the haunted tower! “Surprise! Happy birthday,Ryan!” they all sat.

HAUNTED DORMITORY #2

My name is Jane. From now on, I'll tell you the story of my own experience.


  It was a sunny day. I was going to the school. There were many flowers , grasses, and trees because spring is starting. When I was stepping on green grass, I felt something. Something which is very thick and very heavy was stepped. I looked that thing. It was a diary. I picked up and brought that to my school. In the recess, I went to my secret place, where nobody knows. I sat there and started to read the diary.


  That diary's owner was one of the KMLA student. She also worked for P.A. in GLPS camp. I could know what is KMLA and GLPS camp because it's very famous and well known. Also I am planning to participate in GLPS camp too. I saw some journals. First page was about her feelings toward participating GLPS camp by P.A. She wrote things that she is very nervous and also happy to do this. Next one was about her life in GLPS camp. She wrote that she is very glad to participate this camp and that it would be a good experience. When I saw next page, I felt spooky and scary.


  It was about dormitory life. First three paragraph was quite good. But the third paragraph was about.  HAUNTED DORMITORY!! She included things that she heard from other P.A.s and students. It was written like this ; It was a dark stormy night. Three girls were in the KMLA dormitory. They were in the bed trying to go to sleep. They were very tired. They had to go to second period study time. It was very quiet and dark night.

SUDDENLY! The sound came at the door.

One girl slowly walked toward the door, thinking it was a P.A. Then, another girl joined her, a bit scared. P.A.s usually just come in without knocking. When the two girls opened the door, there was nobody standing in the door. When they came back, one girl who was left behind called them

"WHERE ARE YOU! I'M SCARED!!" the two girls said "We are COMING! Nobody was there strange

Let's sleep at one bed. It's little scary!" The other girls agreed and gathered in to one bed. It was little too small,  but at least they were together. And then...... There was aknocking sound at the door again.

But they were too scared to go down and check it. They just trembled on the bed. Then aspooky moaning sound came from the door. Then, there was a scrathing sound too. They were really! scared this time. They looked around. NOBODY AGAIN! Then anothere sound came. One girl started to scream "Aah!! I HEAR IT! IT'S NEAR US! HELP!" But nobody came. Then she screamed again!

"HELP! HELP! SOMETHINGS PULLING ME DOWN! AAH!" Then, she saw a skull face. It was looking straightly toward the girls. Then,    the skull yelled. "Do you remember me? Do you know who I am?" The the skull disapeared. Girls trembled with fears and cried. Later, a white thing, which looked like curtains but almost trasparent moved infront of girls. The girls screamed again. They sticked each other and they couldn't even scream because of fear. They were surrendered by ghosts. Then, the biggest and spookiest ghost came close to the girls. THEN! He took one girl and disapeared. The girls' head was fulled with fears. Then the rest of the ghosts disapeared too. Next day, that KMLA dormitory room was called

THE HAUNTED DORMITORY.

This memory is still in the other two girls.

I felt very spooky and terrible. I didn't even knew these things will happen in KMLA. But I determined to go to KMLA by participating in GLPS camp. 

  Next summer, I really participated. 2 weeks passed but nothing happened. At day 18, some white and transparent thing passed through my body. I don't know if it's sure. I was filled with fear, that I couldn't even speak or scream. Suddenly, one thought popped off in my head. Is this a real ghost who been attacked by ghosts? Then the ghost spoke. 

" I'm one of the participants of the GLPS camp. Do you know my story?"

Then I nodded to show that I know her. Then she said; " This KMLA is haunted. This place is dangerous. Please go out. I don't want you to be like me. I beg to you. "Then, I felt scary. I determined to get out of this KMLA. Next day, I called my mom, and I asked her that could I go home right now. My mom didn't asked any thing to me and just said "YES"So I quickly packed my things and went home. This is my terrible experience.

Wacky Web Tales-Kids in Space

Kids in Space

What if you lived on the International Space Station? Imagine your normal day as it is now, but in space!

In the morning, you get up at 2030 and get dressed in your space t-shirts and spacejacket. There is no gravity in space, so you float into the kitchen to eat your breakfast of dried bananas, apple in a tube, and smashed up kimchi in a plastic space container. Then, instead of taking the bus to school, you hop into a(n) car and orbit Earth 7 times.

In the car,you do suspicious science experiments such as determining how good a(n)puppy is at sleeping in space. When the experiments are done, you go outside the car for some exercise in space. You sat outside the car for an hour or more. When you are done exercising, you go back to the International Space Station for other activities such asstudying, playing, and talking.You end the day by sending a(n) book to your parents via the space computer, and they tell you goodnight from Earth, down below.

It's quite fun but little short. Next time I'll make another one!~

My History Presentation-Vikings

  This is my second history presentation. I'll introduce about Vikings' punishments and ordeals-notes!!


 VIKINGS-  They lived in Scandinavia, which is word for Norway, Sweden, and Denmark
                     Vikings are cruel and Vicious


 VIKINGS' ORDEALS-
                     1. Ordeal by cake=you have to eat a special cake.
                         If you choke, you are guilty and you have to get a punishment
                     2. Ordeal by cold water= Your arm and foot is tied and you have to
                          jump to the pool
                         If you sink, you are innocent. If you float, you are guilty 
                         and you have to get a  punishment
                     3. Ordeal by hot water=You have to put your bare 
                           arM  in to the boiling water.
                         Then you have to pick a stone which is on the bottom of the pot.
                         Your arm will be bandaged and after 3 days, if there is a scar,
                          you are guilty.
                     4. Ordeal by hot metal= You have to hold a hot iron bar and walk for
                          certain  distance.Your arm will be bandaged again and
                          if there is a scar, you are guilty.


VIKINGS' PUNISHMENTS=
                     1. Witchcraft, plotting against your lord=death
                     2. killing a men accidentally with tree=give the tree to relavtive
                     3. telling a lie= cutting your tongue
                     4. if your dog attacks person and kills= first, 6shilling 
                         second 12shillings, third 30 shillings.

  "Hey apple!" "What!" Did you ever heard this words? Well I believe that you had heard this at least once. It's the part of annoying orange. Do you also now what is one of the video that has over 100 millions of views? Then did you ever heard about annoying orange? Annoying orange is one of the famous viral video. It's characters are fruits which include orange, apple, pear, and etc.. 

  From now on, I'll introduce and explain about annoying orange. First, how did annoying orange became existed? Well, Dane Boedigheimer had been doing many talking food videos for his channel and other sites such as jib jab before the Annoying Orange. Dane said in an interview that the idea was a combination of how many talking food videos, puns and special effects he came up with and did before.The original video was originally meant to be the only Annoying Orange video on YouTube. However, since many viewers liked the character, a few more Annoying Orange videos were released on his channel daneboe. Following the success of the series, he created a channel dedicated to The Annoying Orange under the name real annoying orange on January 11, 2010. 

  Annoying orange became very famous. over 50 millions of people view it and it was mad in many games, clothes, and toys.  The Annoying Orange has also become the subject of a TV series, a video game, toys, shirts, costumes and other accessories.     Many people know about annoying orange too. Now, Dane Boedigheimer, who created annoying orange is planning and making many new types of annoying orange. He has people who writes script and planning the video. He is now very famous because of annoying orange.

  

  Now, I'll introduce annoying orange's characters.

   Orange is the lead protagonist and main character of the series, appearing in every episode since the series began on October 9, 2009. He has yellow teeth, grey eyes, and a braying laugh. 

  Pear made his initial (albeit brief) appearance in the first episode, before becoming a regular character since the episode Passion of the Fruit. He is a Bartlett pear who inhabits the samekitchen counter as Orange, his best friend. Despite their friendship, he is often annoyed by the Orange, to the point where he initially wants to die, although subtly warming up to the Orange's antics afterwards. Pear tries to help others maintain control, and is depicted as being more intelligent than Orange.  There is also passion fruit, marshmallow, and apple.

  Annoying orange is fun and different from other videos. First It has repeated words. For example orange always says " Hey apple!" . So it's kind of interesting and fun. Also it uses fruits as the main characters. I think that annoying orange is a good viral video.
